FINALLY! SOMEBODY SAYS IT!

#9 and #10 are my 1st favorites, but I also know and acknowledge as well as love all of the ones that came before them and the one after. Being from the US, it was not always easy to catch Doctor Who in the days before cable tv so I did not really get into the show until 2005 with Chris Eccleston but even I know classic Who, and thanks to cable and internet I can enjoy them all. Look past the antiquated production values and you'll find that many of the classic stories are awesome and the actors who portrayed the Doctor were all great in their way.

Always find it odd how people call 2005 series 1 when it's not. Series 1 was way back in 1963. Sometimes though I think even the powers that be seem to forget this. It's the 50th anniversary for a reason.

Thank you! This actually reminds me of a comic I saw the other day. A guy asked a girl who her favorite doctor was, she said three. So he was like "Oh, I like Pertwee, too." "Who? I like Matt Smith." *Sigh* Bad fan-girl, bad! Anyway, I couldn't agree more with this!

The amount of people I know who've called the 9th Doctor the 1st! They also seem to think the Time War was before the old series as well.

THANK YOU!!! I am 14, and even though I love new doctor who, I love classic doctor who as well, and I get so annoyed when people think that the ninth doctor is the first doctor!

Most of the Whovians I know I/my family converted, so they've at least had access to the old docs (and we had to do SOMETHING on Saturdays when there weren't new episodes, might as well hit up old ones ) I think I've seen 1 or 2 people (who weren't new) who thought the new gen was all there is.

Seriously though, there's freaking EIGHT other doctors! There's got to be another one you like:
9 is like 1+6, all bad attitude and superiority complex.
10 is like 4+7+8, the rambling brainiac/pretty-boy
11 is like 2+3+5, smart and a bit arrogant but his heart's in the right place (especially 3 now, with that tux!)

I just wish the Doc would remember that he knows Venusian Aikido. I know he's got a thing against guns, but martial arts isn't really guns, is it? There's just something awesome about this dapper old white dude waving his hands everywhere and flipping people onto their backs.
