Stage 1 Theme: A Soul Bound by a Pomegranate ~ Seasonal Love

Arashi, Tamashii and Ikeru are on their way to investigate the bizarre murders and find the true killer. But as soon as they leave the house, they can sense a mysterious distortion in the air. And for some reason the trees are in full blossom even though it should be summer. How can there be spring in a place where it’s always summer? This doesn’t seem to be the only strange occurrence. Even the sky begins to change its color and the clouds take very bizarre forms. What’s going on and could the murders be connected to this unnatural phenomenon? Suddenly they are stopped by a little lich girl who looks familiar to Arashi even though she can’t really remember of ever meeting her.

Many years ago humanity was overrun by an army of demonic hellbeasts and nearly wiped out the entire population. It was the greatest bloodshed in history of mankind and the survivors built a giant fortress as the last bastion, calling it Babylon City. This city became the only safe place for humanity for generations but the threatening hellbeasts was still present. The military government then decided to join forces with magical races to create an army of unstoppable warriors who would fight the hellbeasts and finally bring back peace to this world. For this project the Synoro Academy was built to train humans, elves and other magical beings and become the saviors of the world. The results were disillusioning, to say the least. Since most of the humanoid population was killed already, most of the survivors were kids, young adults and teenagers. And these rebellious hormone-driven nutjobs had better things to do than playing the role of mankind’s last hope. Not to mention that things like youth protection didn’t even exist anymore in this world. This came really convenient when the military learned about a little lich girl named Erica Springsteen who used to be a human. Even as a human Erica was a little troublemaker who possessed the ability to summon all sorts of weapons in any situation, often causing a huge mess in the process. She was only 3 years old when her power awakened and she accidentally summoned a flamethrower when she was playing with her friends at the kindergarten’s playground, setting the whole place on fire. After being kicked out, her parents tried to get her ability under control but much to their dismay Erica wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and never learned her lesson. She found it quite funny that she could summon weapons out of nowhere and everybody was freaking out whenever she did that. When she summoned a nuclear missile in elementary school and almost nuked the entire place completely by accident, her parents had enough of her and took her far away to a desolate mountain where they abandoned her. Shortly after getting in the car, they were attacked and killed by hellbeasts. Erica spent almost 2 years living in the wilderness on her own and killed hellbeasts for fun. One day when she had nothing to eat and was about to starve, she ate the flesh of a dead hellbeast to still her hunger, not knowing that it was toxic for humans. Though Erica didn’t die by consuming the flesh, she still underwent a painful transformation into a lich.

When she was found by the military, Erica was brought to a secret facility where scientists where examined her to learn more about the hellbeasts and their powers. It didn’t take long for Erica to get bored and abusing her power to cause havoc in the facility to have some fun with the soldiers and scientists. It took almost the entire military forces to take that trigger-happy undead loli down. Thank goodness the concept of child protection didn’t exist in this dystopian world so it was decided that Erica would be sent to Babylon City, become a student of the Synoro Academy and being trained to become a warrior.

Due to the fact that she was not only undead but also extremely annoying and her stupidity almost cartoonish, Erica was accepted by the “Fabulous Undeniably Charming Knightesses” clique. This clique was created by the worst of the worst students who weren’t kicked out of the academy just because they were main characters. And despite their daily shenanigans and all the collateral damage they caused, they were still the strongest students. Definitely the perfect group for an underage little orphan girl.

PERSONALITY:

Despite being a little undead girl, Erica possesses great power that can easily destroy an entire area if she was left unsupervised. She has a happy-go-lucky attitude, is extremely oblivious to the fact that she is abused by her friends as a meat shield and has quite fun with causing panic and destruction. Erica isn’t really the sharpest tool in the box and tends to solve all problems with summoning highly explosive artillery and nuclear missiles, regardless if it’s about dealing with hellbeasts or not. She can be really troublesome and annoying and her only qualities are her cute appearance and her ridiculous ability.

Tamashii: “Huh… that’s strange. How can the trees be flowering if it’s always summer here?”

Ikeru: “A weather phenomenon? That’s new.”

Tamashii: “Arashii, did you just…”

Arashi: “Nope, I didn’t do anythin’, bwahahaha~. I can only pull dat prank if someone makes a deal with me.”

Ikeru: “Well, let’s leave that to the actual guardians. I have a far worse problem than strange weather.”

Erica: “Haaaaaay!!!! Are you goodies or baddies?”

Ikeru: “Huh, a little lich girl? Where did she come from?”

Arashi: “She Kinda looks familiar to me.”

Erica: “I am Erica Springsteen, member of the Fabulous Undeniably Charming Knightesses.”

Arashi: “Dat’s gay.”

Ikeru: “F.U.C.K. Club? I’m not sure if we should call the police or the child protection service…”

Erica: “Alright, prepare for your demise, hellbeasts! Say hello to my rockets!”
