Daughter of the Thirteenth Primarch, raised to be everything her father was. He held his own legion to such a high standard, that his own daughter fell under his impossible expectation. Every tactical move, every suggestion, every word Minerva chose to speak felt like it was being judged by her father. Their relationship, which it was only held together with familial respect, was strained to the point that they were never in the same room for then five minutes. Their last meeting was on the eve of her leaving to Terra with a single chapter, where neither one of them would see each other again.
Minerva is a cautious commander with a sound, strategic mind. Her true talent lies in void combat, from coordinating crippling broadsides to leading boarding actions. She wields the powerfist Hellhammer and a Volkite Serpenta.

Russ is not passed out drunk. He's awake and wandering the Warp for his way back home.
Not surprisingly, he actually was making better headway while he still had some Fenrisian Ale left. Navingating the Warp on foot makes more sense when you're drunk. Now that he's sobered up and run out of booze, he's getting lost.

Dude, this is what amounts to a pictorial one-shot, this is like the character equivalent of a health & comfort check, it's not a white-glove inspection. Warhammer 40,000 is full of over-the-top, larger-than-life (sometimes literally) figures who in any other setting would be a Mary Sue.
As for your hiring methods, all I can say is it's your own fault for hiring filthy xenos.

Well then. Ive never played Warhammer 40,000, so apparently I didnt know about that mechanic. Thanks for telling me.
And I never asked if this was an inspection, Id just taken a notice that she sounded an awful lot like a perfect person, which to be honest, I probably should have been less harsh with, considering video games themselves are laced with lovable one dimensional characters.
And you havent heard the start of my terrible minion hiring procedures. Eredar are just the beginning of the rather unfortunate choices Ive made to do in some stories XD

She's the daughter of primarch Roboute Guilliman, she's supposed to come across as a Mary Sue, because the Ultramarines (in general) and Guilliman (particularly) are written as Mary Sues.
Granted that's still annoying as fuck, but it DOES fit.

Okay this is awesome I'd love to see the daughter of corax but damnit I wish this were true lore somewhere buried in the legions of codex's and books I read daily in 40k. Imagine just one primarch having a son or a daughter obviously not a primarch in power but still it would be awesome. If any of the primarch's had the compassion for a human relationship I would have to say that it would be Vulkan or perhaps Sanguinius but the great angel wouldn't let something as trivial as a women get in the way of his duty. Perhaps if any of them were vain enough to clone themselves it would have no doubt been fulgrim. It's an awesome idea that I hope by the end of the horus heresy series will maybe come to fruition I don't know but if there is one series I never want to see come to an end it would be that book series.

Actually, buried in the very first Warhammer 40k codexes describes a chapter called the Little Sisters of Purity which are female space marines, but they passed into the warp
