Negative Trition Force: The Trition Force has a negative side which may be detrimental to her due to the fact that it can transform her into a monster physically and mentally.

The Shadow Steel: The Corbius' symbiotic metal has the ability to drain the energy from the Trition Force, if it came in contact with the user, the Shadow Steel would siphon it.

Miyuki Yamaki AKA Tsunami: One of the Comettes who was friends with Starflame during the time that she was with them, she is the ninja of the Comettes and of the Yamaki Clan.

Estelle Jacque AKA Soundbound: One of her best friends that came from her college, she is also one of the Comettes that uses sound as a weapon.

Twenty years later, the betrayal came..., one of their own has made a deal with an mysterious alien conqueror to know the secrets of the Trition Force so he could master it for himself; but there is one family that won't see it happen, the Ki'valis house; Ka'tion thought that if the Trition Force is used for power then, it could be an dimension of sorts. Holding the baby Si'Tala, Ka'tion muttered a prayer to the Trition Force in his native tongue.

After the alien warlord's soldiers gunned down the wife, Ki'vya, they are marching towards the patriarch to see... no one! Ka'tion have fled to parts unknown. Or so, it would seem. The Trition Force, is more than just a power source, it's a dimension in itself, he was safe from the forces for the time being but now, the thought remains: where should he give the baby daughter to. Ka'tion saw that the earth is an interesting place, he would give Si'Tala a place to grow as a person from earth not just as a Tritionian. The Trition Force allowed him to teleport to earth, to the Los Pinacules Orphanage where the baby was taken care of by the nun. That is until a certain family came.

Si'Tala, now known as Selina Ashland, had a normal life up to her teenage years where her powers manifest when a robber came to steal some money; Gillian was taken hostage by the robber as well as her father, Joseph, this alone made her desperate to save her family, she blasts the gun from the intruder and he fled; this shocked her parents, they never seen her with energy from her hands before but they shaken it off as they were proud of their daughter for fending off the intruder and they went back to sleep.

Selina have dreams since the recent events, it hasn't gone away but she realizes that it's her father communicating with her through her dreams; she wanted to know how she has gotten her powers and why. Ka'tion explained that her powers came from the Trition Force, it somehow manifested in someway out of desperation, Ka'tion offered to teach her how to control this power. Selina, reluctantly agreed. The teen years have passed and she became the woman that burns bright light like the star known as Starflame.
