Silvermane sighed in annoyance as his subordinate glanced down at his phone for a few moments before floating it into a small satchel strapped onto the side of his armor. The stern captain let his irritation show clearly on his face as the new recruit shrugged and slipped his golden helmet onto his head. It was a bit crooked and his mane poked out awkwardly through the helmet. Captain Silvermane's eyed narrowed as he watched the cobalt blue stallion struggle to tame his mane through the small slit on top of his polished helmet. The slightly taller unicorn scanned his eyes around the large portal station, while Blaze began to shift his armor around in an attempt to get more comfortable.

"What. Are. You. Doing..." The taller stallion said through gritted teeth as a few ponies and humans glanced over curiously. "Fix your helmet. You are here representing the Princesses and need to adhere to the-"

"Ugh... this armor keeps chaffing all along my back... Also is it me or does this armor make my butt look big?" Blaze asked, glancing back towards his flank.

The shorter stallion's eyes met his Captain's and he slowly re-secured his armor and cleared his throat. There was a brief silence before Silvermane shook his head and let out an exasperated breath.

"Just don't be an idiot or you'll be back doing demolition jobs for bits," The gray furred unicorn warned, watching as Blaze scoffed and began walking away. "And don't you let me catch you using size magic on anyone if there is an incident. I do not want to deal with the paper work. Again." He quickly added.

"I thought I was allowed to use magic to subdue criminals if I deem it necessary? Who cares if I shrink them...? Fine. You're no fun, 'Captain'. I wont.... Let you catch me..." Blaze said under his breath. He then smirked to himself as he strode off to begin his patrol, hoping that someone or somepony would be foolish enough to cause trouble during his shift.
