I LOVE the idea of Garrus being a father, so I came up with this little scenario of Garrus telling his child about old times with Shepard (Mommy).Made this for this contest to help cheer efleck up:

edit: An alternate line I was considering instead of "...she helped" was "she was in the middle of the fight, bashing in the faces of husks and then screaming and running for cover when her shields went down" which is generally what I do when playing, but I couldn't fit that in XD

Reminds me of the "war stories" my dad used to tell me when I was little.
...except they were usually about the numerous near-fatal injuries he survived from growing up with two older brothers.

I have war stories like that... except they are about two younger sisters.
I once threw holy water at them, one starting screeching 'It burns!' and hid under the bed growling, the other turned into a snake.
We all had a good laugh about it later though, as siblings do.

My dad's usually ended along the lines of "and then he shot me in the leg with a BB gun" or "I woke up in the hospital and had no idea what happened the last three days". Those aren't just examples either, apparently they really did happen...

i was an idiot during my play through and ran right into the fight and would have to retreat when my shields were down haha

Haha yeah, don't worry, you're not alone in that.
The original reason I only played as a soldier was to get the widest range of weapons, now I don't think I could play as anything else because of how I run right into the fight.

Garrus probably thinks it's hilarious, watching through the rifle scope.
My Shep has a few stories too, of the times Garrus didn't stay in the back when he was supposed to. More than once I had to run over and smack a few husks off of him, or revive him after he tried taking on a brute with a GODDAMN SNIPER RIFLE!
