Description Breathe it in, the smoke and air,
And tell me of your life as you lived it,
No lies no cover ups,
‘I want truth, whatever that is!’
And tell it to me slow and fast,
Like the movements that you made,
Throw light and beauty on your birth,
The waters crashed, screams, blood, a storm,
And through it all, You, beauty arrived,
Childhood rattled on to bloody long,
And grew up all to fast,
Shot from a cannon and painted on the wall,
Sex was fast and hard and fun,
But soon to complex to endure and soon you realised,
You’d become ‘not so young’
Now death does not knock on a door,
You’ve barricaded yourself in,
Youth never dies when you’re forever twenty-one,
And ‘life’s not over yet ma’dear!’
You gasped with your last breath.
