Is the paranoia setting in, seeping out of my long lost veins?
Settling back into the normality or day to day life within me,
Everything you say rocks me inside, changed my emotions,
Everything you say is beautifully hurtful and everything you touch turns to gold,
But I am lead and I am sinking to the bottom of a lake that you cannot see,
And I am failing to breathe in air anymore, not for want nor guilt of drowning,
I sink…and I sink into you and bleed you into me like ink into skin.

These many miles of land and sea separate a thousand words unspoken,
And for all that fall from our mouths none are how we feel inside,
Not for me on the whole as I hold my breath and steady my hands,
Clench my knuckles tight as I hold your hand and shake inside,
Nerves over come me and flow over me weakening my knees at a kiss,
Something’s killing me to tell you that I could fall head over heals and have you now,
Dreams are overcastting my views that you could kill me at the will of a word.
