     She prepared quickly, wearing her usual white pants and purple top that complimented her brown skin the best and letting her black hair fall on her back to not lose time tying them. She went down the stairs expectantly, looking for her dad. Unsurprisingly, he was with the horses, more surprisingly, he seemed apologetic. He had always been confident and didn’t hesitate to treat the horse like the mercantile object they are, but today he was caressing them gently, talking to them like he was talking to a child, almost crying. That was too unlike him. After not being home for a month, the first thing he did was apologise to the soulless profits ? That was wrong on so many levels.

This illustration was made to go with the Chapter 1 of my Appelito Projet: an illustrated Story of 15 chapters

I tried something in a comic style, it was not easy, and I didn't really like it !
