This drawing turned out crazy well, I am soooo pleased! I put this adorable lady in yellow because I love yellow so much but find it a terrible colour on me in person. DX I was planning to put the model in a longer skirt, but I just couldn't cover up her fabulous legs!

I spent a long time thinking about an artwork I could do to support BLM, but that didn't feel like I was trying to piggyback on the 'trend'. Being a person who dresses vintage everyday, and makes her own clothes, I find this slogan a very succinct way to express the concept. Just because my garments are suggestive of another era, does not mean I seek to embody everything about said era. I see myself very much as a modern woman. It just so happens my skirts fall below my knees, and I like to put decorative things on my head.
