So when I first looked at this progression of photos, I thought, "Oh, he sure looks happy." But then I got to thinking about it, and realized that it was more a nostalgic emotion; crazedly running around on a playground as an older teenager brought thoughts of being little rushing back to both of us, and gave us an emotional high with a bittersweet aftertaste.

So "hidden" in the apparent fun going on here is a bit of nostalgia, one of the many little emotions that make life so complicated and great.
