Still working hard on the illustration work that I'm doing for the Death Note International Fan Anthology, 40 Seconds ! It's not a very good cover [and I've cut-out the stuff that said it was 18+, and that it's an international DN fan anthology and all of that XD], but I worked very hard on it and I may as well use this upload opportunity to tell you all that I am in fact not dead, and that this anthology is a lot of what I'm working on! β₯EDIT: Deviantart seems to be blocking the link to the information page for our book...? Ahh, thank you so much! β₯ It was awfully hard to keep everybody LOOKING like themselves even while their clothes and their hair were flying, but it was a really fun sort of challenge!

As for the things that you say you liked, like Near's loose pants... /;n; I'm really happy that you like those little elements! You know, it's not usual for me to be pleased with any part of anything that I do, but I'm rather proud of how Near's tummy came out.
AND I'm really happy that you're interested in the fanbook!! The duedate for all submissions is the 30th of this month and we're printing it through LuLu, so I'll definitely make a journal announcement about it when it becomes available!!

Well, I illustrated three different fanfics for the book, and in the end I worked on 14 pages total of fanfic and illustration for the book! Not every page of fic has an illustration, of course, but I designed the pages of the fic so that all but 2 of those 14 pages are decorated in some way. : 3 β₯

Ohh, thank you! It was kind of hard but an AWFUL lot of fun adding in all of the little details, and while I think that there's a lot of room for improvement in this I'm happy that I was able to do alright for now! β₯
Eee, I'm so glad that you noticed L's fruity boxers! I had to compile the pattern from a stock vector image of a strawberry myself, but it was great fun and... my favourite L cosplayer to-date was wearing fabulous strawberry boxers when I met them, so grand joy and a lasting impression of L in strawberry boxers ensued! β₯

XD Panty shot Misa. I love how Matt's still trying to play his game, and Mello just looks like "I better not drop my chocolate, dammit." Awesome job with the expressions and the blown back hair! It's tough to do that.

XD I'm glad that you noticed Misa's panty shot, and that you enjoy their expressions! β₯ It's like you say, INCREDIBLY touch to draw a manga or anime character especially with their hair swept up and out-of-sorts like this... I worried as I was penciling it whether or not people would be able to tell who they actually were, if only because they look so UNLIKE themselves when you do just one thing like change their hair-!

But I'm absolutely awful at drawing Light, and he kept fighting me and fighting me as I tried to draw him again and again, and then FINALLY I decided to assemble the other inked characters on the computer and see what sort of space was left behind for Light, in case that might help me be able to draw him finally and... they made no room for him! /;A; I'm really sorry!!

The honest truth is... XD;; I can't draw him right, so I hadn't penciled anything that I was happy with for him, and I went ahead and scanned-in all of the poses [drawn separately, you know] and resized and began integrating them to see if there was a certain pose that would work better for Light and the composition and... lo and behold but there was no room for him-! /;--;
