Description
In Lacari Hoguro and Tera are still looking around. Merchants are surrounding them, just like other tourists by the way, asking for them to buy their goods. But they can't find anything interesting. Also, not very long, a woman notices them. She walks straight to them and takes her knife to cut off their wallets. She walks closer and closer, untill... WOAM! A man with a big sword appears and comes between the woman, Hoguro and Tera. "Sorry pal, this time you won't get away, and I think these tourist don't like it when you steal their wallets," the man says."I'm able to try," the woman replies and dodges when the man tries to cut her. She tackles the man and runs away. Hoguro runs after her while Tera tries to stop him. He grabs for his orb and his claws appear again. Luckilly he is much faster than the woman. After a couple of minutes he is able to stop her. She tries to tackle him as well. He dodges and scratches her. Her face is filled with blood. The woman gets angry and tries to stab in his shoulder. He tries to dodge again, but the dagger hit his upper arm. Then the strange man appears again. He jumps from the roof and stabs through her head. The woman is dead.
The man turns around to Hoguro, still with his sword in his hand. "Thanks," he says and attemps to walk away.
"Stop," Hoguro says and the man turns around. "What's your name?"
The man smiles and says:"It's Nagate, Ishori Nagate."
Then Ishori walks away, letting Hoguro behind. At that moment Hoguro is thinking. He has forgotten something, but can't remember what. Maybe he remembers later. So Hoguro walks away as well, the other way.
Tera, left behind, waits untill Hoguro comes back. But he takes his time. She waits. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes... It takes too long. So she walks around. Hoguro is probably lost, like he always was when he was little. She keeps walking and walking. Tera gets frightened, al this time walking alone. Maybe Hoguro left her behind and left Lacari already.
Two people notice her, a man and a woman. "Look over there, dear. It's that girl we saw next to that boy with the claws", the woman says.
"You're right, Chogann. And that boy was carrying a strange thing," the man replies.
"Looked like an orb to me, and maybe one we are looking for," the woman named
Chogann says.
"You're right. We should take her with us. She may have some answers for us about the orb his boyfriend carries," the man replies.
Hoguro is walking down a street, still trying to remember what he forgot. Then he hears a scream very close. He recognises that voice. "Now I remember! I forgot Tera. Stupid me!"
He runs to the place where he heard Tera. She is caught by two strange people. Hoguro takes his orb to get claws and attacks the two. Strangely they avoid every attack - mostly the woman - and run away with Tera. At that moment Ishori comes again. "I saw what happened to your little sister," he says.
"She is not my sister, she's just a friend," Hoguro replies.
"Well I know where they will go. The only way out is the gate," Ishori says when he takes a map out of his pocket. He must have big pockets. "Now this is how they probably are running," he says while pointing on the map. "If we walk this way and then go left, second right and left again, we meet them at this point."
"Why don't we just take this road?" Hoguro says while he points on the map. "We reach the same point, but it's much shorter," Hoguro replies.
"Yeah, that's what I said."
"No you didn't."
"Nevermind, we'll have to run, otherwise we lose your little sister."
"SHE'S NOT MY SISTER!"
So they run to the gate, trying to look for those two kidnappers. At first they don't see them, but then Ishori notices three strangely dressed people, all wearing a mustache, though two of them look like women. Then the mustache of the middle one falls off. It's Tera with something in her mouth which unables her to speak. The oter two notices the fallen mustache and Hoguro and Ishori noticing them. Then they start running again, out of Lacari. Hoguro and Ishori are running right after them. Not much later beside two little bushes a wire appears, which tackles Hoguro and Ishori. Two other men come out and run together with the two kidnappers.
"Alright," Ishori says. "I guess we can't follow them anymore since they're too far away. But we atleast know where to find her."
"What do you mean with that?" Hoguro reacts. "We don't know where they're heading."
"Yes, we do," Ishori replies. "We have to go to the Dengal Forts."
"And how do you know that?"
"Simple, there is a label on the wire they left behind. 'If you find this wire, please return it to the Dengal Forts'. C'mon, let's go!"
Hoguro is confused. Why would kidnappers put a return-label on a wire?
"But the Dengal Forts are north, not south! And they're only 10 miles away," Hoguro says.
"And how do you know, smartass?" Ishori replies.
"It's written on that board," Hoguro reacts.
"Now you're cheating. I could do the same thing."
"What are you talking about, I could do the same thing with that label."
"You're just jealous," Ishori replies.
They both walk to the Dengal Forts, bickering.
