Spread your wings, and
leave that wrinkled satin
black ocean behind.
Wanting to bathe you
in a cadaverous red light,
the hell-bent innocence
of your mistress eyes
has brought me
closer to everything I fear.
Your catatonic limbs, and
those closer-to-heaven heels
I don’t know the name for
will brand a sensation
into all those
that are loveless.
Your vanilla skin,
and cataleptic state
on a midnight Hollywood
hills background
makes me capable,
awaiting an act of god.
