Lo and behold; all of the designs for my fake character creation screen are done! All lined up nicely in a single picture, too.
I had fun coming up with these, as you might tell. ;3c
Now, the idea is, that you could either pick one of these or make a custom appearance, where you can mix and match the different features of each design as you like. The parts you can change would be the face (green), the headgear (purple), the hand equipment (red), and clothing (blue). Clothing would be split in two separate parts, like the top and bottom. Maybe make the arm garments separate, too. In any case, that oughta give some nice variation to the customization.
Mechanics wise, the off-hand item would probably determine a special ability or something instead of being just a visual feature.
