You've never read Breaking Dawn have you? That's the biggest ball of happy I've ever seen. You can't really find a much happier man than one that's married and has a beautiful daughter.

I've actually read The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. His last name doesn't have two Ds. My English teacher (who is Team Edward) recommended it to me. I'm reading the third book right now, but I don't think I'll continue. It reminds me too much of the Percy Jackson series. Instead I'm moving on to better literature in the post apocalyptic category. Vampires are overrated, and according to my research, the Vladimir Tod series was published AFTER the first Twilight book, therefore Heather Brewer was just hopping on the vampire bandwagon. It matters not that her vampires don't sparkle, or that they aren't like Twilight in any way. She wrote a series that would attract fans of the vampire craze, which Twilight started. To be truthful, all of the vampire books that were published after October 5, 2005, are merely just following Stephanie Meyers example.
If you want original vampires, I suggest picking up a copy of Dracula, and the newly published sequel to Dracula. It's interesting and ORIGINAL, something that none of the vampire series published today are.

I have no idea who Alucard is so I've go no room to talk. I suggest seeing "Daybreakers." Best vampire movie ever. Really gory, though. And Rosario+Vampire is a good vampire-y manga to read. And, have you heard of True Blood? XD Twilight, R+V, and True Blood have to be my favorite vampire series.
And I'm sorry for picking a fight with you, I just get tired of seeing this kind of stuff. People should just shut up and go about their own business. Like I said, it's all the hate that makes the fans so obnoxious. If it weren't for the massive amount of anti-Twilighters, the Twilighters themselves wouldn't be so stupid.
Personally, I am obsessed with Twilight, but I keep my mouth shut unless someone asks me about it.
