Licorice is the guard dog and best friend of Anthis/Rekun, and rival (and only true friend) of Kindly.

Licorice had been tasked at adolescence to hunt down Kindly the fuzzy little terrorist, but upon catching it and bringing it to justice, he was merciful and gave it a choice to join him as it had vast experience and magical talents

Kindly joined, and in gratitude, helped forge the Ironbrandt pictured, a greatsword with a furnace within to ignite itself in magic flame. To this day, it is Licorice's most prized possession
