Yep. Plus how did Shadamy start anyway. Is it 'cause of that moment in Sonic adventure 2 when Amy accidentally hugged Shadow? That was an accident she somehow thought that was Sonic (and this is one of the reasons why fans thinks she's Sonic obbsessed, crazy and blind).

I would say that it started with the promise that Shadow gave her. People say that in the scene when Amy hugs him by error, Shadow smiled a little bit, then, when Amy ran away, Shadow took a step toward her, like if he wanted her to stay.
