Description
Alpha -- the beginning.
Omega -- the end.
A motive that appears everywhere, and space certainly is no exception to this. From the birth of stars and planets, their recreation in nebulae, to their ultimate demise in the vortex of a black hole, it is a constant cycle of creation and destruction.
When I read about the Space Out Challenge , it quickly came to my mind to have two opposing themes spread on individual monitors. In fact, despite their physical differences, early solar systems and galaxies manifest in a very similar manner from a visual (or artistic?) point of view, which surprisingly makes for a very coherent topic!
As usual, feel free to drop a comment, fav, watch, beer, points, or anything, really. Makes me happy to receive feedback
Oh wow, a DD! Thank you so much cosmicbound , this is absolutely amazing!

Thank you! I normally find it difficult to work at such an aspect ratio which makes me all that more glad that it works

It's a great aspect ratio for expansive drama.

Seeing pictures like this always reminds me of an old Game called "Freelancer". The View in Space is always stunning in my opinion ^^

Sadly, I never really got around playing Freelancer, although I've heard lots of positive comments about it. Guess it's time to find some let's-play-videos to watch while working

IΒ΄m not sure if there are any lets play videos about this game since it was released in the early 2000s. But if you ever have the chance to play it : Do it, you wonΒ΄t regret playing this Gem. It still looks amazing (even though it is almost 20 years old) and still feels so good to play ^^

I'd love to, it's just that my schedule doesn't quite allow me to spend too much time gaming lately but keeping it running at the side is working for me just fine
Just found a couple videos and skimmed over a some scenes, I'm positively surprised by the level of detail for a game this old. Quite pretty scenes

This is a stunning wallpaper! The central section reminds me of the "Pillars of Creation" images taken by Hubble, well done!

Well observed! I based the nebula on a similar constellation called the Mystic Mountain in the Carina Nebula
Thank you
