I watched SPEED RACER last week in a movie theater.As for SPEED RACER, a Japanese cartoon film is a movie of the originals.
The box office seems to be bad in the worldβ¦But, as for me, this movie was very interesting.
This movie is Japan, but the box office is bad.
I intended to go to watch it again.
But...
This movie was discontinued on the second week...

This movie pass unnoticed at the Box Office! It sux because is a real good movie! Some people don't like it because is too much childish, I don't agree!
Sometime, we need some enjoyable movie like this! The Wachowski made a great job here! They don't try to destroy the original idea like the most of time Hollywood do!

i reallyreally liked this movie, in Chile (my country) it lasted a lot (if i remember correctly), i think many childrens went to watch it(omg the colors!!)

I LOVED this movie. All of the vivid colors and stylistic effects...it made me feel so energetic!
This is an amazing picture - you definitely caught the spirit of the film. I think it's interesting how you showed Speed's reflection in the helicopter window. He has this "look out!" expression on his face.

I think it's terrible. It's a good film, but I don't think what WB realized is that many otaku spend so much on DVDs in the states, that there probably wasn't any money left for them to see a film in the theater. I'm hoping they'll finally catch up here.
However, if they're so disappointed by it, how come they greenlit movies based on "Macross" and "Death Note" for US audiences?
