I watched SPEED RACER last week in a movie theater.As for SPEED RACER, a Japanese cartoon film is a movie of the originals.
The box office seems to be bad in the worldβ¦But, as for me, this movie was very interesting.
This movie is Japan, but the box office is bad.
I intended to go to watch it again.
But...
This movie was discontinued on the second week...

WHOA. That is really awesome! I love the bright colors and Speed's reflection in the helicopter window.
The movie didn't do so well here in the States, either - but I think with us, it was all a matter of bad timing. It came out around the same time as the blockbuster, Iron Man. That sucks, 'cause I also thought the movie was great.

I was personally never inclined to watch the movie and thought that the whole effect was overdone from what I saw on trailers. I thought the thing would look fake and I never really like Speed Racer to begin with so that's also maybe why I was never looking forward to watch the movie.
But, you've taken the style they tried on the movie and made it kind of your own and it results on this bubbly colorful thing which I can't keep my eyes off. You did an amazing job! Congrats!
