A little Ice Age cowboy roping. Maybe this is why the Neanderthals were so robust?! A little sketch wip up for the day. No rhinos or other animals were harmed in the making of this drawing.Related content

I don't know if this was part of the inspiration for this, but there was a palaeoanthropological study a while ago that compared the range of injuries suffered by Neanderthals with different populations of anatomically modern humans. The best fit happened to come from: rodeo riders. Unfortunately, the methods have come to be questioned, even though the study had come to be part of the canon in palaeoanthropology.

It be kind of funny if that was true and also explain why they went extinct, too many died due to being squashed by pissed off woolly rhinos or its cousins!
