I feel this building upSeeping through the seems
Trickling down my skin
I've tried and tried to explain
But I simply don't understand
enough to convey this to you
They come and go
these thoughts of mine
sometimes too fast
for me to grasp
but still leaving a bitter taste
in my mouth
You want me to open up
You want me to trust
And I try and I try
To explain what's on my mind
But I tend to contradict myself
from day to day
forgetting what I've said
How the hell can you expect me
to make you understand
the stranger that I see behind my eyes
I'm caught in the corners of my mind
Trying to open up
But I can't find the light.
