He actually doesn't have a name by his originally creator, only known as the Professor or the Nerd. Wanting to assign a name to him for dialog purposes, I went with Professor Otaku and leaned into it with who he works with like Pinky & The Brain and MegaHertz. While described as fit, to break nerd stereotypes along with his line of work involving combat, I made him more muscular, recalling a particular buff guy cosplayer I met at a comic con a few years ago. He was selling toys and video games, among other things stuff like Pokemon, so that seemed like a good fit with Otaku's close association cartoony colleagues.

A brilliant mind, both tactically and scientifically, Otaku is the head of the mad science division of the super villain run Evil Corp. While more at home at the lab, Otaku is surprisingly hands on for some one of his type, often in the thick of a conflict with other heroes and rivals. Though because of this, Otaku will occasionally become victim to his team's own inventions, such as a recent string of bad luck with shrink ray technology. Besides science, Otaku is also skilled with weapon technology, and while skilled with normal guns, he tends to prefer using more fantastical devices, usually Cybertronian like the Cassettes or Planet Master tech.
