Character designs for existing and upcoming Algomon infected Digimon attacking the American Server.

Algomon infected Digimon tend to be considered Mutant Types, with their base strengths amplified via the installation of a Baby or In-Training Algomon into their program. Unlike Black Gears or Dark Rings, the Algomon is completely imbedded into the host, and cannot be removed. The host's original personalty is overwritten by Algomon's l33t speak and more snarky trollish personality, though occasionally some of the original personality shines through. Infected Tankmon tend to be more dim, Gorillamon tend to be more brutish and aggressive, and so on.

Their attacks are the same as their hosts, but Algomon Digimon gain added power from the parasite's data. Cyclomon are literally armed with Algomon Mega's Brute Force power, while Mushroomon have special mushroom bombs that seek data similar to Algomon Baby. These mushrooms aren't very strong though, and can even be squished by a human as proven by a ticked off Matt:.

The type of Digimon that make up an Algomon army seems to vary, but Pteranomon and Tankmon are constants usually.

Kiwimon and Cyclomon weren't planned originally. They came about fiddling around some more with Algomon hybrid designs, and I wound up liking how they looked. I particularly like Kiwimon's little drool/tear drop thing.
