Description
Midnight was being carefully watched by the team since the day they got her back. Even if she was back, they still needed to get rid of Darky. If she was back, she'd be able to tell them where he is. It's been two years since that Halloween; Midnight still seemed shaky after snapping into reality she was home. She had told them about Chimecho having a certain device in him, and it was removed a week later to prevent any future problems."So I see you're taking a liking into the room now," The deformed mew froze and turned to see Molly and Kristyn in the door way, Marilyn appearing a second later. Dittomew usually dusted and cleaned the room to keep it new every month. She just finished sewing the pink dango that was torn three years back, and set it on top of the purple dango.
Unlike Dittomew, Thorne didn't like coming near the room for multiple reasons unknown unless he was with Dittomew, it didn't bother him as much. Marilyn walked into the room and set a wrapped gift in Dittomew's hands, "What's this for?" "Anniversary gift from these two and I. You and Thorne will be married how many years tomorrow?"
"Four," She smiled, "Thank you guys," Dittomew watched as the newly-evolved Gardevoir left the room from the sound of a baby's cry, "How's is Molly's new job?"
"She seems to like it," Kristyn went over to help Molly calm down the wailing infant.
"I love this job~" The Gardevoir began cooing to the baby, then stopped, "Dittomew, do you want to calm him?" Without a response, Molly put the infant in her arms, "Put his head on your arm then raise your arm to give his head support, now put your arms around him. Good! That's the cradle hold." Dittomew stared down at the infant who stared back at her with big blue eyes.
She giggled, "He's adorable," Bouncing him ever so slightly, the baby began to squeal in delight, making her smile, "His parents are the neighbors?" "Yeah. They wanted to go out today for some free time." Molly showed how to put the baby back into the carrier when he fell asleep.

Dart was now staying with the team. In a few battles, he showed that he was relatively stronger than his brother. After catching him up in life, he was like an old member of the team. Like Midnight, he knew where Darky hid. He knew the young Darkrai better than anyone, "Dart, you're not paying attention again."
"Huh?" Dart turned his direction from the ocean view to Rose, Thorne, and Marilyn. He made eye contact with Marilyn, but quickly averted his gaze, "What were we talking about?" "Geez, you doze off a lot." Rose frowned at her older brother, "Well sorry for being amazed by the ocean view." He smirked, kicking his leg up behind him, leaning against the railing of the deck.
"Would you know where Darky lives?" Dart was taken a-back. After years of him getting at the team, they still didn't look hard enough for the island? Heaving a big sigh, Dart pointed to the direction of the ocean with a not-so-amused look on his face.
"You can see it better at night. The moon makes the trees on island glow," The Banette explained to the three, "I still can't believe you guys didn't look out there of all places. The three islands..." "We did but we only saw two islands, not three!"
"Because it's not visible at day. Only at dusk, night, and dawn can you see it," He sighed, "Beware though, there's a cave that you have to go through in order to get to where he is. But he does like to play games on intruders."
Rose and Thorne stared at him, "Thank you... Dart..." Thorne spoke up, still getting used to the fact he had a family; Rose, of all people, was his twin, Dart, a Banette that was blind in one eye and used to work for Darky, was his older brother, and his parents are the most bizarre ghost Pokemon he's ever known. But it's his family.
And somehow he felt relieved being around them time to time.

"Darky!" Mahina kicked his side. She was now six years old from last month, "Why are you still in here?"
"Mahina go home!" The Darkrai hissed and putting his hand out at Blazea, "This is no place for you or any little child to be here!" He was fighting with Blazea to practice. Blazea's attack missed Darky and aimed at the girl. Quickly, the Darkrai grabbed her, putting her in a tight hug. Lifting his head up, he glared at Blazea, "You should know when Mahina and I are talking, you stop attacking me in practice." "You didn't stop." "I was dodging your attacks! Why do you think I put my hand out when she came in?" "Oh, I'm sorry."
Blazea's voice was practically spilling sarcasm at her partner, and a shadow ball knocked her out.
Darky stood up and carried Mahina over to the beach of his island. Placing her on a large rock, he crossed his arms, "How many times have I told you not to interrupt me?" "But-" "You saw what happened five minutes ago, didn't you? If I didn't see you, you would've been hit by that fire blast!" "I'm sorry..."
The Darkrai sighed heavily, smiling gently, "You need to stop okay? At least be in the cave entrance to call me. I don't want you hurt by me or Blazea or any of the other Pokemon on the island."
"Okay," Mahina looked down, then turned to see her Lapras friend in the water, "See you later, Darky." She jumped off the rock onto the sand and ran to the water. The two greeted each other, and Mahina climbed onto her back. Waving as Lapras went towards another island.

The next few weeks went by fast. Christmas was celebrated at the team's house.
After a few weeks of keeping everyone away from a certain part of the house, Molly, Kristyn, Marilyn, Grayson, Jean, and Jessica finally showed what they were keeping a secret. Tearing down the large sheet over a large portion of wall, a huge frame held a picture.
"When was this done?" Dart looked at the collage and the huge picture in the middle of the entire team, including the Kurai parents, Akuji, Sanura, Catey, Caleb, and his little daughter. It was based off the picture that was taken at Jessica's, Molly's, Grayson's, and Jean's Graduation from Wish Pond High School, except everyone was in formal clothing.
"It took a few weeks to get everything together and that picture to be drawn," Jessica smiled, putting on her green christmas hat. Everyone had matching pajamas and outfits for today. The triplets wore red and green striped shirt and night gown pants. The rest of the females wore a red night gown with white polka-dots and the males wore a green night shirt and pants with the same polka-dots. The men had to be forced into their night gowns, though Thorne refused to put his on.
Hakura crossed her arms, smiling, and went red when Keahi put his arm around her, "W-we should get brunch now, shall we~?" She fled downstairs. Tables were set up in the living room, and the tree was in the corner near the kitchen, but under it was load of wrapped presents and the stockings were against the wall. It was always the team's tradition in eating their annual Christmas brunch before the excitement of opening gifts started.
And it was always a mission to get couples under the mistletoe.
Which was impossible for many.
Dittomew's birthday was the day after Christmas, though most of her gifts were given the day before. That did not stop a party from happening. She was now twenty-four years old. Many little gifts for her, and probably her favorite one was Ivy's and Molly's drawings of her and Thorne, "You're quite the artist~" She hugged the lavender-haired girl.
Still, no one could forget how shocked she was when the test results came a few months later after new years.
And no one could forget Kaito's reaction.
"A baby," Star smiled at the two men.
"Eh?" They turned their attention to the Mew, "Mine?" Kaito scratched the back of his head.
Star shook her head, still smiling, "Thorne's and Dittomew's," She grabbed Thorne's hand, "Congratulations."
Kaito came into realization and started panicking, "Wait a second Star!" His face was inches away from his wife's, "If she's got a baby, that means what...! The stork dropped it off or did she pick one up in a cabbage patch?!"
Her eyebrow twitched, staring at her husband, "Don't tell me you're seriously that dense." Shoving his face out of hers', the Ditto glanced at his daughter, who nodded at him.
Thorne smiled at her, but was grabbed by his shirt collar, "Why you..." Kaito pulled him to his face, his brown eyes as ice, then put on a screwed up smile, "A baby huh... Congratulations."
But that happiness didn't last long. A month later, Dart told them the layout of the tunnel and Darky's island, "It's in between New Moon island and Full Moon island." "I'm guessing we just call it Half-Moon island." "Alright..." He drew a simple layout of the island, "Now the island is pitch black, so don't be surprised if you're unable to see for a few minutes."
He saw a shiver from the shiny Gardevoir, "But the cave isn't that dark. Spirits of dead Pokemon light the cave, and it's convenient to have," Dart noticed a few of the team members made disgusted faces, "And we would need every one we can get. Akuji do you think you can come?" "What? No, I can't. I'm not a Pokemon anymore."
Dart leaned over the table, and curled a hand into a fist then uncurled it quickly and a force over took the trainer, "Now explain to me you're not a Pokemon." He rested his head on his hand as the Gengar stared at his now-glowing purple hands. Cutting off the power, Akuji averted his gaze and put his hands on his lap.
"I want to help, too!" "No, you're mother will kill me if I turned you back into a Skitty," Dart glared at her, "But you can use your Pokemon to help guard the entrance," Sanura looked doubtful but then nodded, "Speaking of which... Humans, do you have any Pokemon?"
The small group that came from the human world glared at him, but a few nodded and one shook their head no, "I really consider using my own power." Grayson replied, leaning back on the couch.
"Don't get too proud of your power. The Pokemon power is limited until you get to the forest. He might attack us in the tunnel when we're completely vulnerable," He noticed the questioning look on Molly's face, "No, we cannot simply fly or faze through the tunnels. They cover the entire island, but... only one tunnel which I know leads to the forest."
Rose perked up, "I think I know of the story! Legend says that the youngest Darkrai's heart is covered by darkness, that the tunnels were created to keep people from changing his heart." "Gay story is gay." "Molly! It's true!"
Molly bursted out laughing, "That has to be the most cheesiest legend I've heard than Romeo and Juliet!" The Pokemon version of the famous story, but instead a Raichu took place of the famous Romeo and a Jolteon is Juliet, "But you seriously believe that Rose?"
"People have been to the island themselves, and that it's dark as his heart," Rose explained, "But then again, he is the pitch black Pokemon, so I'm not surprised that it is."
"I was about say..." Kristyn sighed, "Do there have to be a few people guarding the outside?" "Four to the maximum."
-
"Rayquaza," Jean threw up a ultra ball, and the legendary sky high Pokemon flew down to greet the team, "Could you take us to Half-Moon island?" The legendary seemed to do a loud noise from it's throat in agreement, "Thank you!"
"How did you manage to get him?!" The team was dumbstruck but Molly and Grayson.
"I have Groudon." "I have Kyorge." The two said, and everyone, but Thorne and Dart looked shocked.
Molly sighed, "Could we please get going? Your faces are boring me." She jumped onto Rayquaza.
Kristyn stuck her tongue out, "Cold much? I think you rubbed off on to her," She looked up at Thorne who just smirked
and helped his wife onto the Pokemon, "How's the rescue team going for you guys?"
"Fine, Thorne and Hakura are cutting my work to a limit," Dittomew sighed in irritation. She smiled when her husband rose an eyebrow at her, "I know you care, but it's a little annoying," She held out her hand to help him up, "I still love you though~"
Her grasp weakened when she felt darkness over come her. She fell off the legendary, and Thorne caught her, "Dittomew?!" Putting his hand on her forehead caused the same darkness fall over him.
-
"Hey, you alright?" A little girl's voice caused him to look up, "You were sleeping on the swing~" She smiled at him, "Want to go play?" "M-me?" "Yeah! My friends will let you play! Come on!" She held out her hand, brown eyes beaming.
He looked at her, then looked down at the ground, "I don't know if your friends would like me," The boy moved the swing a bit with his foot, "No one likes me." "Why is that?" "I'm a ghost Pokemon. No one likes ghost pokemon around here..."
The little girl giggled, "One of my friends is a ghost pokemon too!" She grabbed his hand and dragged him down the hill, "I'll introduce them to you." "O-okay..."
"Who's that?" A taller boy with brown hair and cyan eyes asked, watching the two come over. He was holding a ball in his hands and bounced it a few times.
"A friend I met on the hill swing~" The girl smiled up at her brother, "This is... uh... What's your name?"
The younger boy was shaking, clenching the girl's hand tighter, "I-I don't r-remember..." "What? You don't know your own name?" "I-I f-forgot it..."
"Oh well, that doesn't matter~ We'll call you Shin until you remember~" The girl giggled, "That's my brother, Joseph, my friends, Aidan, Nicole, and Astuo," She pointed to Aidan, "He's a ghost like you are."
The boy with brown hair nodded, smiling, "Hi Shin." The blonde hair boy that was Astuo waved at him, and the taller girl about Joseph's age smiled down at him.
"What's your name then?" The boy asked the black haired girl next to him.
She smiled, "Maeko~"
-
Does she remember that...? No, she couldn't have. She lost her memory as a child. Thorne's eyes snapped open and looked around. He looked down, seeing Dittomew was still passed out. Was that from my past or hers'...? He lifted her up, and Molly's head turned to look down at him.
"Hey, you're awake," She had worry in her emotions, "Dittomew isn't?" He shook his head, "Huh, I wonder what caused you two to faint so suddenly. Maybe it was from pregnancy with her... or Darky got both of you." "I wouldn't have woken up like that. There would be a dark aura around Ditto if he did anyway."
The Gardevoir shrugged and crawled over to Jean, talking quietly to her. The dirty blonde hair teen nodded, "We should do this another time. We don't know if others will faint--" "Who made you the leader?" Grayson glared at her. "I'm doing this for the team's sake you idiot." She kicked Grayson off of her dragon Pokemon. After getting off herself, she returned Rayquaza back into it's ball.
"Well that's great, did this for nothing~" Kristyn stretched, and started walking back towards the house with a few others. Dart stared at the dark ocean for a few minutes until following his brother and sister.
