Meet The Dragon Slugcat. He's a little bigger, a little hardier, has metal limbs and a reinforced head from the main Iterator of his story, and has a jetpack similar to the one Vultures have.

He's going to be mostly carnivorous like the hunter, can be cannibalistic when starving, has a 50/50 chance of surviving being stabbed with a spear, 50/50 chance of surviving a shock from medium sized centipedes, and has a nasty bite and shape claws to protect himself when unarmed, can claw/bite lizards and scavs when needed. And maybe a passive ability of intimidation by standing his ground on two legs, like 15% of the time opponents will flee (won't work on anything that can one-shot DC).

The jetpack has a limited use of 15 seconds which use can be spread out, after the 15 seconds is up it takes 6 pips of a cycle to recharge. His tail is long and wide to help steer when flying and change directions like a large sail or wing.
