I'm simply acting as historian and advertiser (go to the Elsinore, it's cool!).

This is the view from the stage in the Historic Elsinore Theatre in Salem, Oregon. Yes, the theatre is dark and the seats are empty (as is the stage, but for me) and yet there is still a sense of expectation, of waiting and anticipation. The theatre looks forward to when it will be full and bright again.
