A lot of people don't care much for this sequel, but I was legitimately creeped out by it as a kid.

I saw the scene with the severed heads as a very young kid, and it scared me so bad I left the room and didn't finish the movie. But not long later I was able to watch it again and fully complete it, mostly because I was into the cartoon at the time, and wanted to see my Ghostbusters. (As I mentioned in the older post with my previous Ghostbusters Perler, I had not yet come across the episode of the series that made me stop watching entirely..)

The idea of an old haunted painting that watches you, spooked me more than the dogs-in-the-fridge idea from the first movie...That is, until Vigo came to life later on in the movie with a lackluster presence..

Yes, on the whole it is a less entertaining movie than the first, probably due to the toned-down-for-the-kiddies elements of it because of the cartoon being popular, and also because (in my opinion) most movies involving babies the majority of the time are usually not very watchable. But it is still a guilty pleasure for me when nostalgia hits.

That being said....
