On my old machine this was a 7-8 hr. render.
With 12 gigs of ram.........3 and a half hrs.

Unreal!! And this machine can hold up to 16 gigs of ram
and 2 more hard drives. I was shocked at it's overall size.
I have to admit I'm still getting used to it. Going to Windows7
has a lot of changes I need to get used to.

I was sad - I bought my new laptop only eight days before Toshiba gave out Windows 7 update for free. So I'm stuck with Vista on my laptop and XP on the PC. I feel like a dinosaur.

I remember when Toshiba and Dell both were doing that.
I actually avoided Vista on purpose. Stayed with XP during
that time. I really wasn't in a hurry with Windows7 but when
I decided to get a new Desktop I figured it was time to go with
the new. I still have XP on my laptop so in a way we're the same
