Description
The Embassa Droid was developed by the Kataleni Confederacy, one of the monarchist powers on Natar. Designed in the early 60's (AME) by Farkam Security Logistics as part of a Confederate weapons competition, the Embassa became Katalenia's first weaponized android. The model was designed for compact storage, mass-producibility, cost-effectiveness and speed. Achieving these aims with remarkable lack of expense per droid, the Embassa has become a popular export both to advanced nations, who seek to field such troops in vast quantities, and smaller nations who do not have the coffers to buy more expensive droids. The design of the Embassa allows for rapid movements across battlefields. This, combined with their cheapness and status as inorganic automatons, makes them ideal forces to swarm entrenched enemy positions to disorganize enemy defenses. Allowing organic and more expensive forces to advance or fire upon enemy positions unmolested. Their metallic body, fast speeds and ability to be both arms with melee and ranged weaponry makes them a terrifying, yet expendable foe when deployed in numbers.
