The first butterfly this year of the Vanessa genus I've seen this year which is really strange...usually the flowers are just LOUSY with Vanessa Cynthia (Painted Lady) or Vanessa virginiensis (American Lady) from June til about now. Nope. Just this guy...which is rarer around here. (Southern Maine) The honeybee was a nice photobombing bonus
