Argh *pulls hair* I hereby declare this piece a failure. u_u;; First quick-sketch attempt at jim, not to mention first shot at the disney art style. Of course i failed miserably.. doesn't look like him. T_T I'm so sorry jiiiim!!! You know i wuuv youuuu~~ *wails and cries* And i screwed up the coloring.. hadn't meant to color his hair so dark and so heavily. And his hair looks curly now. *ugh* And my shading/lighting's probably *totally* messed up.. by the way, i didn't draw all this straight away with color pencils. I did the sketch in pencil first and then traced the lines over. ^^;; Stoopid crappy beige color pencil.. the color came out uneven and ruined jim's face. His expression isn't supposed to be sad or anything, just kinda.. uncertain, anticipating. Dunno if that came out right. c_c;; And i know this pose/angle looks suspiciously familiar to a scene in the movie (only realised after i found the screencap to check if the proportions etc were accurate) but i swear on oath i didn't copy it. *sigh* Hopefully i'd have better luck drawing him the next time around.
