That is one amazing shot, yup-yup.
Found this one in *isky 's fav list, BTW, so thanks to her for leading me to it (waves at sky).
...My only gripe is very slight: you could have picked up the leaf-litter at the bottom right before the shot.
Other than that, I love the muted colors, the comporition, the detail in the cracks, and the general mood. A really first-class shot, this.

this is amazing. ive always looked at puddles that way, but i never had my camera with me. again, great contrast between the crystal clear reflection and the broken pavement.
must add to my faves.

Agreed completely with redux! This is one of those shots that simply calls to you when walking down the street. Only the clever, talented, attentive or insanely genius could notice a shot like this! Either way, go with genius!
The diagonal is my favorite. As well, the main colors (tannish-yellow & sky blue) compliment nicely.
My only suggestion, try cropping a little off the top. I would like to see about 1/4-1/2 of the top cropped. I feel this might keep the eye focused on the main elements rather than wondering to the whitened sky in the upper right. (possibly a v2?)
Regardless, it is an amazing shot that will have me looking in puddles for days to come! A new inspiration.
