Am I the babble or the brook?

The people run by, oblivious to me,
Wasting their time on such petty things,
It is I who keeps time, counting all I see
They notice nothing but a cell phone ring,
I can yell, and trust me I have,
Those who seem out of place are washed away,
I was swept off my feet faster than I ever have,
Because people in need never get saved,

Now I stand so solid on the ground
Maby one day they'll all be safe and sound.

There is a babble and there is a brook.... There are also trees, fish, rocks, roots, ect. ect.

I have recently been feeling very lost and depressed up to a point where I was envying my best friend for being happy... This was ment to be a vent that I would just delete, but it didn't really turn out like that and I fell strangely better now

I hope you all find a rock in life to camp out on
