It's DMC 5 Dante! Look...I cleaned him up
First time I drew a guy that looked so real. I surprised myself.I'm aware that his jacket isn't all red and shiny. Since I can't get a good reference, this will do.
Pencil sketch and colored with SAI.

There's was an interview with the developers recently about fan feedback on the new Dante. They admit getting a lot of "Where's the white hair??" questions. I mean, that is expected since they altered the most important feature of a very iconic character. It's also disturbing how much the new Dante resembles the producer/directer o.o

I dont like him, but I dont hate him. The first day I felt saddened, but now he's just sorta...'there'. Least to me.
I like pictures of him in DmC though when he doesnt look like a total crackhead.

They look grayish or pale blue to me. Hard to say since the pics have texture effects. I'll just stick with blue.

idk...I'm still not sure about this design...Dante just doesn't look right with such short hair... (LOL THIS COMING FROM ME! WTC). I don't even care if it isn't white, though I guess he'd look moar emo if it were shaggy...so I suppose it's for the best.
Also not sure if I like that jacket or not...is that just a big flap or a giant hood? I can forgive it if it's a hood, but if it's just a flap...JFKLDS OMG SO TACKY! /shot

Yeah. I was watching some scenes from DMC3 & DMC 4 last night and this design is just so wrong. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
