I absolutely love this picture, but there's a part of me that wishes the white frame was missing. Dont get me wrong that is gorgeous too, but the piece was strong enough without it. Just my two cents.

ahaha don't worry, I've thought about leaving Aurora without the frame or not, too XD I made it jjust because it was part of the starting idea and I was in the mood to make some decorations

Well the picture is absolutely lovely. And I love your art style too...may I ask how does one go about developing an illustratorly style? What artists influence you? Got any tutorials you can direct me to? I need to take myself into the general direction you go with your art I feel, so any pointers will be profoundly appreciated. ^^

uhhmm well I think style should come by itself, helped by your interests, the way you see what's around you, inspirational artists and A LOT of practice. I always try to experiment a lot with shapes, colors, tools etc when I have to draw something, so I never feel arrived (still I can't understand why one should feel so..) and the style is always evolving.
I'd like to be a 2D animator, so I think my main inspiration comes from disney animators and concept artists such as Glen Keane, Chris Sanders and Mary Blair XD also, there are a lot of illustrators who inspire me a lot. Kay Nielsen, Kim min Ji [link] Krista Huot, Lisbet Zwerger, Michael Foreman, Sheilah Beckett and a lot more! deviantart artists too.
I must admit I never use tutorials with the aim of developing my style, I prefer to use them to learn some new tricks 
I hope I've been understandable even if I'm not used to write in english

Grazie mile!! I've looked around your gallery a lot and I notice that you live in Italy! I lived in Venice for 3 years so ho capito Italiano ma non posso parlo cosi brava quest oggi. Wow I feel kind of creepy the levels of admiration I'm developing for you; I am an animation person too so I see kindred-spirit like tastes in artists. I'll look at the illustrators you suggested!
