some months ago I made lady lovely [link] and today I decided to make maiden curlycrown for fun <3
I enjoyed making this but my eyes hurt sooo much ;_;
more or less 5 hours.. base by me

Ah! that is soooo awesome! I never knew or met anyone who knew of lady lovely locks and her crew! Maiden Curlycrown was my favorate, I don't know why though....maybe it was because of her colors. Oh well, great job! ^^

I love the way you shaded the roses and the dress, and how you mastered dithering making the semi-transparent detail on the bottom of the dress.

I generally use photoshop because it has various tools (selectors, layers etc) which speed up the work, but ms paint is the same thing

Wow. This was made in ~5 hours? I would've thought that the hair would take at least that long. Anyways, that's an insane amount of detail for that time, and even though it only took 5 hours, it still looks awesome.

I tried to make the hair quicker using crosshatching and I found it so useful! plus curly hair doesn't take so long as wavy-hair, so I've speeded up everything!

I don't think I've ever seen a pixel art doll as elaborate as this--and I think I rather enjoy it! Usually I dislike the dolls, as they all look WAY similar, but this one certainly stands out from the rest.
