Ruth's and Rose's updates were fine and dandy, but their designs had fairly minor, but necessary changes, as well as adapting to the brand new art style. Now, what about something a little more... drastic? There IS someone in Go! Go! Hypergrind: Take Two! who fits that description! So, do you guys remember Dagger? I'm going to assume not, since Dagger was definitely one of the less popular skaters. Taking that into account, I figure he would be one of the best characters to give a MAJOR face lift to, one that's not just a clothing or hair upgrade. Instead, almost everything about Dagger changed, except for his name and profession. Dagger is now a Cassowary. I changed him into that since there wasn't a single avian character in either GGH cast, so it would help Dagger be more of a standout. His personality also changed. He was supposed to be quiet and reserved, but now he has a lot more life into him, being quite active and having a very sinister attitude, but he's surprisingly jovial... as long as you don't mind his morbid sense of humor. He loves cracking jokes about death and murder a lot, which makes the other skaters feel a little uneasy around him. Dagger has his own... specific reasons for participating in a skating competition, but he also hopes to win the prize money to actually quit his job... as an assassin.

Dagger is still an assassin, but he dresses up as a plumber as his cover-up job. So he's still dealing with a job all waste disposal, in some way, shape or form. He has an Australian accent, despite being born in Indonesia. He's just done most of his growing up in Australia, and getting to meet so much dangerous fauna definitely shaped him up into being quite the living danger he is today. He works for S. H. A. D. E. (Stealth Hits And Disposal Experts), and they have a very strong reputation for being quite good at their jobs. So if you see an assassin with a S.H.A.D.E. logo on their person, just prey that they make their job quick and painless. Despite his dark career, Dagger has a code to him that he sticks strongly by: he does not like seeing harm come to kids, and he does not like cheaters. Cross either of those two rules with him, and you better start counting the minutes because you're not long for this world.

I hope you all enjoy the far more lively and colorful Dagger! He was tricky to design, but I'm incredibly satisfied with the results on the new big bird!
