Description

The largest known species of Croach on the Northern continents. Its choice of hunting grounds are large sulfuric fields where it hunts the large critters that eat smaller critters which feed on bacterial growths from the waters. It has evolved a spectacular camouflage of bright yellow to hide from even larger critters that hunt from the sky. It is named after the Crysantheium gemstones which share the same hue.

(I'm quite aware the flower is spelt 'Chrysanthemum' , but bring that up to the locals or the word 'Topaz' and they'll look at you funny)
