Description When my last roomates lived with me, before i gave up my office, we were going to convert my garage into a bedroom.

This was the design.

The walls were to be Black, White (colored yellow) and blue. The desk was going to be built into a wall built 30 inches from the garage door which was going to be replaced with a rolling door, to still allow storage for yard supplies.

We planned to build a platform (green) and steps to create an entrance more elegant than the wood steps there originally. We were going to create handrails out of pvc pipes. The door on the black wall allowed access to the hidden water heater.

The entertainment center was centered on a wall wedged in an alcolve created by the water heater storage and the closet. We had three papasan chairs that we planned to move into the space for an entertainment area - we aslo discussed making a table out of a hollow tree trunk with a glass top.

Track lighting was installed (failure). It was to run the length of the room, in an abstract wavy design.

The bed was my cousins existing twin mattress, framed and centered in the room.

There was talk of either wallpapering, or hireing some one to paint a large version of Starry Night on the blue wall.

I loved the plans for this room, and was saddened when a lack of money called it all to a halt. The office was givin up, and now i work from my own room.
