Another piece for the rainbow collection
The cloud hair charms make a comeback, lol. Originally it was just the single rainbow girl, but I decided to semi mirror her, it reminds me of my early "virgin candy-candy" piece....for some reason I find it fun because of that (perhaps nostalgic looking back?)meh, anyway~ hope you enjoy the new piece! I only have 2 or three left to go before I am done!

You do rainbow hair so darn well! The colors are awesome, and the way they layer in the hair, it just works so well! I like that you didn't completely mirror her as well, it's fun spotting the little different between them, like that one of the girls has a smirk on her face.

Wow, I really love this. Their hair is so pretty, I just love this entire piece! And that's sayin' something 'cause I think pink is the root of all evil... But when it's in one of your artworks I just love it!

PS. I should be shipping out your print shortly, the canvas cost over $100 to order~ so I had to wait for a few checks to clear before I could buy it

haha no worries, I cant remeber if I told you~ but I spent a good hour or two cleaning out my printer before the holiday and its running smooth again! Turns out a bit of hair got in the inside and was sliding around and making a mess

You didn't tell me about the maintenance. I'd guess that was due to your trying to do about nine things before your trip in the time it would take to do four. At least now the canvas printing shouldn't be so tension-inducing (as in, "Will it? Or won't it?"

I am in love. All of your art is fantastic and you have truly improved greatly over the years. Your Rainbow collection is indeed, adorable and just drop dead gorgeous. I hope this doesn't upset you because some peope do get upset when you compair their art to another, but I'm saying this in a good way. The way you color your pictures reminds me of old Lisa Frank folders I had back when I was in elementary. As I said before, I am saying this in a good way, cause I have noted people in the past of saying their work reminds me or is as good as so and so's , but I take it they think I'm saying they're copying them or something like that. Keep up the good work, Liz. Can't wait to see what you bring up next.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I was a big fan of Lisa frank as a child (in fact if they had the studio out here I totally would have applied to work for them!) This set the theme was rainbows, 1980's, nostalic cartoons etc so it makes me really happy that you guys are being reminded of the things I love in the pieces!

I love the fact that even though they look so symmetrical, they are soo different, from the necklaces, bracelets and strands of hair, to the outline of the breasts and the expression on each face
