Sea Dogs
“Stem’s Best Friend”
Sea Dogs, today, have been domesticated for many centuries. Sea Dogs are great for companionship and for herding aquatic farm animals.
Sea Dogs are semi-terrain aquatic mammals, possessing a seal-like body with ‘wings’ running down their backs and a pair of antennae. With their flippers, one can hop across the sandy beaches that they come across. On the neck to their chest is an air pouch which can be used to store enough air to last many hours under water.
Sea Hounds are the bigger and meaner cousins of the Sea Dogs. These beasts have a larger air pouch, allowing them to delve into the deepest depths and last days without surfacing. As a result, Sea Hounds have darker skins for blending in and more antennae to sense their surroundings in the darkness. These creatures can be threats to lone myres who are venturing alone…
It is possible for Sea Hounds to be tamed, all it requires is some luck, time and effort, before you have a wonderful companion by your side. Some Sea Dogs even have a bit of Hound ancestry on them!
There is no sexual dismorphyism in Sea Dogs or Sea Hounds
The fins of a Sea Dog will sparkle under sunlight.
This species seem to have originated from cold weather environments from the high amounts of blubber on them, nobody is sure why they are here though.
The pups are born with a lot of fuzz which makes this difficult for them to swim in their early days. However, their high amounts of fat means that can float safely!

my submission for the creature contest! noticed we didnt have a dog niche so I made one based off of seals! I think I would've had more art but my beans ran out 😂
I have my second creature in concepts so we'll see if I actually get it out there
