Well, Raigen had to defeat all those ghosts (tuyul) in the Jeruk Purut Cemetary so that the cute girls could focus on their war. Electricity are perfect for banishing ghosts, just see how scared those tuyuls were. You could hear they were all shouting "OHSRAAAAAM" (Ohsram is one of bulbs trademarks in my country it sounds like "Oh Seram" which means "How Scary" ---this refers to how scary Raigen was who shines like a bulb here ) Yup ,he's even scarier than the ghosts
