All are titles that perfectly describe King Ghidorah, a malevolent three-headed hydra that came down to Earth from the reaches of space thousands of years ago. According to ancient humans, Ghidorah is best described as a “living extinction event” whose purpose of reaching Earth was not to conquer or terraform it, but to destroy it completely out of sheer sadistic glee. He would’ve succeeded then had it not been for the timely arrival of his soon-to-be archenemy Godzilla as well as several other Kaiju who joined forces against this new foe. Ghidorah also had an army of his own in the form of “mind-controlled” Kaiju who pledged allegiance to him. It was bloody and brutal with seemingly no end in sight. Fortunately, Godzilla and Mothra had a plan and lured King Ghidorah to Antarctica where he would ultimately be buried under a mighty glacier in the frozen wasteland.

In present times, King Ghidorah was also the most difficult Kaiju for MONARCH to fully unravel, dubbing the creature “Monster Zero” for many years. As it turns out, almost nobody in most ancient cultures didn't even leave any writings on him. What little there is might have served as the basis of several draconian myths, such as the Hydra and the Rainbow Serpent. From what little information they got, one thing MONARCH, the UN, and even APEX fully agree with is to never dare to have him awakened or all life on Earth will be gone.

Abilities/Aspects:

- Armored scales resistant to ALL known forms of weaponry, nuclear or otherwise

- Regeneration surpasses that of Godzilla’s and even Orga’s; can heal wounds and even severed heads in mere moments (with memories intact as well)

- Body has bizarre nervous system with the central head able to communicate with the other two

- Can generate and fire Gravity Beams from all three mouths that can pull or push objects before exploding on them

- Charges energy from solar power collected in wings

- Flight at Mach 4

- Can drain energy through bites

- Above human intelligence with each head having its own distinct personality; Ichi (middle head) is the leader and the most intelligent, Ni (right head) is slightly more ill-tempered and aggressive, and San/“Kevin” (left head) is easily distracted and displays signs of curiosity much to the ire of his eldest “brother”

- Scales are gilded with trace amounts of aurum, which act as conductors, capable of carrying bio-electrical currents throughout his body

- When combined with his body's electro-receptor molecular biology, water vapor in the air is superheated, creating a localized storm system as he flies

- Creates a powerful shockwave just by clapping his wings together, destroying anything in its path over a range of 600 meters
