Being a goddess was tiring work - all the human-ants begging for attention or judging every single step she took. Could you really blame her for a few squished Tesla’s? She liked taking some time away. This morning she needed it badly. Seeing her phone at just a few percent charge she paused, but decided to go ahead as there was a charging cable.As she danced and relaxed in a world by herself, Kate was pulled back to reality by a burning smell. The charging cable had failed and was threatening to catch fire.
She rushed over and pulled on the cable. As a goddess she could snap suspension bridge cables as easy as the gossamer of spider webs, but as a doll it took all she had, including a fall onto her rear, to free the cable.
After a short breather, she remembered that she needed that charge to return to her normal size. As she touched the screen she was greeted by the dead battery image.
Slumping onto the phone, she only hoped that the person who found her would not take advantage of the situation.
