Ariana consulted frequently with her friend Jessica. She viewed her as a mentor and requested they go out for coffee, to which Jessica agreed. Ariana thought the woman was beautiful, particularly when she is pregnant as she was now. During their meeting at the coffee shop, the two gripped their stomach and collapsed on the table dwindling to the size of toys. Jessica was familiar with shrinking and calmly picked up her phone and attempted to call her manager.

Ariana panicked and crouched behind the sugar container on the table. That panic was not assuaged by a giant hand reaching over her head and snatching up her idol. Someone so powerful in her eyes was rendered impotent and restrained by massive...but delicate fingers. The fan’s pinky finger could easily stop Jessica’s chest from breathing. Ariana was amazed by how calmly Jessica talked to the woman - a woman who could kill or steal her effortlessly. That didn’t stop the giant from plucking way Jessica’s phone and smashing it between pinched fingers. Nor did it stop her from placing the star into her purse and running out the door.

As Ariana cried she her rumbling above her, coffee cups and the plant were pushed aside with an ease that Ariana could no longer imagine. Young faces kneeled down and talked to Ariana in hushed tones. They told her it would be ok and that this happened to her mom all the time. So much so that a tracking chip was installed in her leg.

The children offered to take Ariana home and put her somewhere comfortable while the cops find their mom. Once found both would be restored. Ariana nodded and felt the unearthly feeling of a child that she carried on the way to the shop picking her up like a doll.
