“Psst, want to see something?” Rich’s turkey leg trance was broken by a short pixie. She smirked at him, “Real magic exists everywhere, even at a Ren Faire. Want to meet my tiniest of friends?”

Uncertain but not wanting to seem rude, Rich nodded and the adorable fae whipped out a flower from behind her. Shoving it into his face, he could see bees.

“Yes bees are very important to plants, but please, I am very allergic to their stings.”

She giggled, “Look again, look closer…”

Rich’s eyes bulged as he saw her - Leah from Tiny Girl Big Show desperately trying to maintain balance as the flower moved from the fae’s grip. “How did you?”

“Zurina has her ways. Now you have seen my magic, please contribute. A few coins will do, but if not you can contribute in other ways.”

“I’m sorry Ms, but I don’t carry cash. Perhaps I could buy you…”

“Other ways it is!” With a flash, Rich found himself in a dark narrow room. It was fabric lined and smelled of the honey and lavender the tiny fae did. Combined with the comforting warmth and soft swaying he was about to drift off to sleep when a booming startled him, “Let me show you my littlest friend!”

The once delicate fingers, now the size of tree trunks ensnared and dragged Rich out. Deposited on a flower, he was shoved into the billboard sized face of his ex girlfriend. “Your friend is this little creep?”

“He could be yours for the right price…I am generous with my friends…”

Pinching fingers squeezed Rich as a liberal sum of money was shoved into Zurina’s pocket. “My dear, that is several hundred dollars and my phone number. Let’s just say I think we might have more mutual friends in the future.”

With a wink, Zurina nodded. “Oh yes, we’ll be in touch my lady.”
