Destoroyah (デストロイア Desutoroia, lit. Destroyer) is a crustacean kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the 1995 Godzilla film, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. Originally a colony of microscopic Precambrian crustaceans that mutated from exposure to the Oxygen Destroyer used to kill the first Godzilla in 1954, it created a monster able to splinter itself and recombine at will. Named after the biological weapon that created it, Destoroyah is the final opponent of Burning Godzilla in his final moments.

Unlike monsters that kill and destroy unintentionally and act only out of instinct or while under mind control, Destoroyah seems fully aware of the death and destruction he causes and takes pleasure in causing it. His cruelty is most visible when he attacks Godzilla Junior and later kills him while the latter is trying to reunite with his father. While Godzilla is grieving over his son, Destoroyah attacks him on two separate occasions, even appearing to laugh while he drags Godzilla by the neck. Destoroyah's strategies seem to revolve around causing as much pain to his opponents as possible, as his aggregate form is shown repeatedly stabbing Junior with his limbs and administering extremely painful doses of Micro-Oxygen into the wounds.

Weaknesses: Destoroyah is susceptible to low temperatures, such as absolute zero temperatures. As a colony of micro-organisms, Destoroyah's regeneration slows down considerably the more his body is damaged[1].

DNA Absorption: Destoroyah can absorb the DNA of creatures he attacks by dissolving their cells with micro-oxygen. This is how he evolved further into even more powerful forms after absorbing Godzilla Junior's DNA.
Breakdown: Being a composite life form formed through trillions of near-microscopic organisms, Destoroyah can break down into smaller individuals with a hive mind. These individuals can merge into a single form as well.
Energy Draining: Destroyah drains Burning Godzilla of so much energy that Godzilla is unable to use his Heat Beam.
Healing: Destroyah's Aggregate forms take damage and explode. Several minuets go by until we see Destroyah healed and back in Perfect form.
Oxygen Destroyer/Smoke form: Destroyah explodes in Oxygen Destroyer after being heavily damage After several minuets Destroy then heals and reverts back into the Aggregate forms to continue fighting.
Regeneration: Like Hedorah, Destoroyah is a composite lifeform formed from trillions of near-microscopic organisms, and as such he possesses vast capacities to adapt and regenerate. When threatened by the JSDF, the creatures merged again into a single, massive Aggregate Form, which evolved further into a winged Flying Form. At this point in Destoroyah's evolution, Destoroyah can switch between his Flying and Aggregate Form at will, and used both forms to fight Godzilla Junior. After being temporarily defeated by Junior, Destoroyah regenerated into its demonic Perfect Form and would later temporarily separate into multiple copies of its Aggregate Form in an attempt to overwhelm Godzilla during their battle.
Burrowing: Destroyah can dig underground and emerge attacking his enemies from behind.
Flight: Destroyah in Flight form is able to cause buildings to explode by flying over them. This is not a speed base attack, but a very likely side effect of Oxygen Destroyer.
Resistance to Extreme Heat: Destroyah survived multiple shots of Godzilla's red spiral ray, although forcing him to retreat twice.
