MARIO
Mario[Note 1] is the main protagonist of the Super Mario series. He appeared in the 13th episode of Death Battle, Mario VS Sonic, as well as the revisit in the 100th episode, where he fought against Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
History
Long ago, the trusted adviser of the Royal Koopa Line, Kamek, prophesized that two babies would cause disaster that would befall the Koopas. In order to prevent this, Kamek attempted to abduct the young Star Children, but ultimately failed thanks to the intervention of the Yoshis. The two babies would grow up to become Mario and Luigi, plumbers extraordinaire. The most popular of the two is undoubtedly the brave red-clad Italian who needs little introduction. The legendary hero of the Mushroom Kingdom started off a mere plumber, but has over time earned his fame from various feats of heroism and adventure. Apart from saving Princess Peach from the clutches of the Koopa King, Bowser, Mario has battled with Donkey Kong, played various sports, held various occupations, traveled through space, and much more. Over time, Mario and his brother became the official "superstars" of the Mushroom Kingdom, and have continued to thwart the many evil forces that dare threaten their world ever since. No matter the foe, genre, or obstacle, Mario will stand tall and face it head on.

DBX
For an article covering Mario's appearance in DBX, visit the DBX Wiki.
Mario appeared in the 28th episode of DBX, Mario VS Luigi, where he fought against his brother Luigi and tied with him, with them both ending up being defeated by Bowser after accidentally disturbing his son's birthday party.
He later made a cameo appearance in the 76th episode and Season 4 Finale, Batman VS Iron Man, where he can be seen in the crowd during the auction.
Death Race
Mario appeared in the Season 1 Finale of Death Race, where he competed in his Standard Kart from the Mario Kart series against Captain Falcon in his Blue Falcon from the F-Zero series, his Death Battle opponent Sonic the Hedgehog in his Speed Star, Doc Brown in his DeLorean from the Back to the Future series, Takumi Fujiwara in his Toyota AE86 from the Initial D series, and a Scout Trooper on a Speeder Bike from the Star Wars series.
Mario killed the Scout Trooper and sent Sonic flying at the beginning of the race by blasting them off the track with a Bullet Bill. He ends up being the third racer eliminated from the race after a Bob-omb he tossed at Sonic is sent back at him from the track's Barrel Cannon, which then blows him up and sends him flying off the track.
